5/8 NAC Urban Forest Plan Community Workshop at Forest Park

  • 1, Forest Pkwy, Woodhaven, NY 11421 (map)

NYC’s forests play an important role in the health, safety, and sustainability of our communities—providing clean air, reducing extreme heat, improving mental health, and creating habitat for wildlife. As we work to create a long-term vision for protecting and expanding these natural areas, we want to hear from you!

This workshop, led by the Natural Areas Conservancy and partners, will focus on Queens' forested natural areas, especially Forest Park. Join us for an interactive discussion about the value of these spaces and how the Urban Forest Plan can support their long-term care and community use.

Food will be provided. Registration is required with the link here!

If you cannot attend this event in person, you can still share your thoughts by filling out the Urban Forest Plan Questionnaire!
