10/4 City of Forest Day at Highland Park
Join NYC Parks, the Forest Park Trust, and Scouting America for City of Forest Day at Highland Park! Volunteers will clean and care for the BBQ area, steward young trees, and take part in ongoing forest restoration in the park’s natural areas. Educational activities will follow the hands-on service event.
Registration is required with the link here. All gloves and tools are provided. We encourage participants to come prepared to get dirty. Long pants and sturdy closed toed shoes are best for your safety, and water bottles are recommended for hydration throughout the summer.
