Wayne Tucker is a New York-based trumpeter, vocalist, composer, and bandleader whose work blends jazz, soul, gospel, funk, R&B, and singer-songwriter traditions. He has performed and recorded with artists including Taylor Swift, Jay-Z, the Roots, Elvis Costello, and Jon Batiste while leading his own group, Wayne Tucker and The Bad Mothas.

“I think my music is 100% vulnerable,” Tucker says. “I’m unafraid to express that true uniqueness.” Tucker will present his original music and also perform music by Marshal and Ernie Royal of Ozone Park Queens.

This event is sonsored by Councilmember Joann Ariola and The Forest Park Trust.
